Greg grew up on a family farm and understands the importance of mutual trust to developing a strong relationship with his clients. He has education and experience in both business and law, and is passionate about working with entrepreneurs to help them navigate the legal and practical issues they face as they grow their business. Whether it’s starting a new company, buying or selling an existing business, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements or raising money, he enjoys helping his clients reach their business goals.
Greg is also fascinated by real estate. He takes pride in working closely with homebuyers and homeowners to ensure that their residential real estate transactions run smoothly. He also really enjoys assisting clients with commercial real estate purchases, sales, financing, leasing and development.
Greg earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba in 2005. He spent several years working in the front offices of the Edmonton Oilers and Manitoba Moose hockey clubs prior to attending the University of Alberta Law School in 2010. In 2013, he articled with a prominent Alberta firm where he gained excellent practical experience in the areas of business law and real estate.
In 2016, Greg and his wife Jessie moved with their young sons to Victoria to be closer to family, fishing and year-round golf. At that time, Greg joined Wilson Marshall and has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the City of Victoria, its people and its strong business community.
