After residing in Europe and the United States for several years in order to pursue both educational and professional endeavors, Joanna made the decision to permanently relocate with her family back to her beautiful hometown of Victoria, B.C. When not working, Joanna spends much of her time at the rink with her two teenage sons (Emmitt and Sidney) and her husband Rob Armstrong, an ice hockey skills coach and owner of Hockey Evolution.
